The rustic and traditional village of Palaios Panteleimonas is perched on the side of majestic Mt. Olympus at a height of 700 metres. You will gaze in  wonder at the spectacular view from the village which looks out over the Aegean and the coast below. The traditional architecture of the houses, taverns and the church of Old Agios Panteleimonas has been adhered to, with buildings such as the old school being lovingly restored.

The village is a perfect location from which to explore the surrounding National Park and the mountain forests of beech, chestnut and arbutus trees.

You can also enjoy great activities like mountain biking and hiking the forest  trails as well as paragliding and hang gliding. The day of exploration can be rounded off nicely at one of the village’s charming taverns serving traditional meze side dishes and local tsipouro.
